  • Why this course?

2D Brachytherapy was used for cervical cancer in the past. Local control was 75-95% for early and 30-65% for advanced tumours. • • • Now, MRI guided brachytherapy leads to impressive results. In EMBRACE-I study, local control was 98% in stage IB1 to 90% in stage IV. Morbidity was low. • • • CT-based brachytherapy is a low-cost alternative to MRI. Early experience is favorable. • • • This course supports transition to CT-based brachytherapy.

  • Target Audience

Radiation oncologists • Medical physicists • Radiation therapy technologists • Exclusively participants from India.
